From May 20th to 23rd, 2025, the Cologne International Furniture Production, Woodworking and Interior Decoration Exhibition (interzum) was held at the Cologne International Exhibition Center in Germany. With the theme of "Rethinking Resources: Circular and Biobased Solutions", this year's event attracted more than 1,500 enterprises from around the world.The exhibition featured multiple distinctive zones. The core exhibition area on North Avenue concentrated on showcasing cutting-edge achievements such as circular economy materials, low-carbon production technologies, and digital solutions. The Functional Components Zone presented intelligent hardware to promote furniture intelligence and modularization; the Materials & Nature Zone focused on sustainable wood to practice material circulation concepts; the Textiles & Machinery Zone introduced high-end fabrics and advanced woodworking machinery to enhance production efficiency and technological aesthetics. Concurrent events included the interzum Award Ceremony and Trend Stage, leading industry trends.Since its establishment in 1959, the exhibition has continuously expanded in scale and influence, actively promoting sustainable development and technological innovation in the furniture industry.
